Beautiful marbled hardboard cover with soft brown leather corner pieces and spine cover. Gilt gold titles of spine.
Condition: Pagination in the second half of the book out of order; pages 33 and 34 are in-between pages 38 and 39. Original binding; boards very rubbed and worn with staining, head of spine slightly torn. Tear along hinge on marbled endpapers; moderate foxing to FEPs, title page, some interior map pages but not affecting readability. Slight tear to one interior page, not affecting readability. Fold-out pages intact. Some pencil writing from previous bookseller on front FEP; signature of previous owner on back FEP. Pages clean and clear, binding tight.
